Facebook's bumper sticker application

There are the current most popular bumper stickers being downloaded on Facebook. Is this really any impression on the types of things and ideas that our growing youth is so proud to plaster their personal profiles with?

Last we checked getting accidentally knocked up is not something to scream for joy, especially when you are young (you can tell by the terrible grammar and pretty colors that the author was young).

Our youth is ever so awkward.

Internet lingo may lead to your ignorance: Hoe Vs. Ho

This is the correct Hoe

This is the correct "Hoe"

This is the correct version of a ho

This is the correct version of a "ho"

WTF did my BFFFFFFF**?? Jill do to my BHLN.

Alright we’ve all seen it. This terrible short hand language that some how has become it’s own Internet type of speaking. Short hand SMS or text messages have been the only thing worse to further this type of speaking, but how does this affect you and the people around you.

When in the midst of your face to face conversations, however rate they may be, we suggest you quickly slap your friends in the face when they use terms such as ROFL or phonetically spoken as Ra-Fal or perhaps the BRB spoken as Be-aR-Be.

The only term that has become even worse than the meaning behind it however is that of “Hoe.” Evidently due to terrible misspellings across the Internet, children across the world now believe “Hoe” is the proper term, where as it in fact is a ho. While there is a small chance they are calling their friend gardening tools, the most obvious choice in words is to call them a whore, skank or prostitute.

Our favorite place to find such terrible examples is on Facebook, more so the Bumper sticker application.

Quickly browsing through such a wide selection of terrible hand made stickers most likely by that of a 13 year old girl still swooning over the Hollywood flop film “Twilight.”

The clear cut definition of “Hoe” goes as follows:

Main Entry:
1hoe Listen to the pronunciation of 1hoe
Pronunciation:
\ˈhō\
Function:
noun
Etymology:
Middle English howe, from Anglo-French houe, of Germanic origin; akin to Old High German houwa mattock, houwan to hew — more at hew
Date: 14th century

1: any of various implements for tilling, mixing, or raking ; especially : an implement with a thin flat blade on a long handle used especially for cultivating, weeding, or loosening the earth around plants

-Source Marriam-Webster dictionary.

Now these small minded and confused individuals more than likely are referring to the following term of “Ho,” with full definition as follows:

ho 1 play_w2(“H0224500”) (h)

interj.

Used to express surprise or joy, to attract attention to something sighted, or to urge onward: Land ho! Westward ho!

ho 2 play_w2(“H0224500”) (h)

n. pl. hos
Once again noticing that “ho” is not even a proper term, as it is slang.
Please illiterate children of tomorrow, please get your insults and what would now seem to be an form of greeting between friends correct when written.
Slang A prostitute.
